Artists At Work
Here are some photos of the art classroom. These photos didn't make the cut for the print folks - but I can share them here with you. I did ask the school to make sure they had permission from all the students so we could use their photos in event publicity. The school said we were okay.

Do you want media there the day of your event? Yes. But isn't it more important to get advance publicity? Yes.
This is a journal of the why's and how's of putting together a media preview to promote a festival.

A Big Thank You ----
All of the candidates that I could get ahold of were invited to this event. Some of their staff persons laughed and howled when I shared with them this event. I was calling asking for a photo for the students to use as a guide. Most of the candidates responded. A great big thank you goes out to the Statesville Record & Landmark for all their assistance in pulling this event together! And, a big thank you to the Statesville Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Statesville Downtown Development Corporation, Inc. for letting me do this event.
